they said there is a reason the rear view mirror is always smaller                   than the windshield

but i never understood 

still don’t

that loss only occurs when you’ve loved something more than yourself

That this world needs a selfish and a selfless

i knew our love was made for movie screens

but secretly ripped at the seams

          people
