Small crystal bead Turned into thick scarlet river They asked me what I wanted to be And told me what not to be

They say that genetics loads the gun Personality and psychology aim it And your experiences pull the trigger.

But if I unleashed my weapon of choice on you And left your heart hemorrhaging Perhaps you’d finally realize We’ve run out of excuses.

It’s time to stop squeezing those intellectual eyelids Fasten our satin sashes And continue down our stream of consciousness
