Let’s go to a place where the lilies run wild

And the only measure of years is when the sun rises and sets.

Let’s go to a place where success is measured by passion

Talent, by resilience.

Let’s go to a place that smells of book pages and fresh coffee.

Where holding hands till dawn can be as common of a practice as breathing.

Let’s go to a place where you can admire the beauty

Without being afraid of the passage of time.

Let’s go to a place where you can hold me for a hundred hours

And I’m not afraid when you let go.

Let’s go to a place where you don’t have to give more than you recieve

And fatigue isn’t as common as the rising of the tides

Let’s go to a place that may only exist in your mind,

But when you go,

Take me with you.
